The New Zealand National T'ai Chi Ch'uan Association was formed in 1988 and is recognised as the New Zealand branch of the International T'ai Chi Ch'uan Federation. It aims to encourage individual and group practise of T'ai Chi Ch'uan in New Zealand in accordance with the spiritual; and philosophical aims of T'ai Chi Ch'uan.
